This is not an attempt to write a Provencale Cookbook. There are many of those - almost certainly too many - and the internet is, as usual, an additionally rich source of inspiration both good and bad. It is simply a section devoted to the recipes that appear from time to time in the Smith stories.
Smith likes cooking. This does not, however, make him a particularly good cook. However enthusiasm counts for a lot in these matters and having a dog who will eat everything, dead or alive, helps to overcome occasional moments of culinary uncertainty or disaster.
